anyone on here have any child or children with sickle cell trait? (AS). have u noticed any complications with it that the doctor said there wouldn't b any cauz it isn't the actual flow blown sickle cell disease? just 2 let all the other parents know out here my son has it and 4 athleets died of the trait in one year due to heat exhaustion. it mostly affects blacks and those of italian races but it can happen more frequently in other races but blacks r more likely to inherit the trait and the sickle cell disease.
